Coming soon to Rome!

Hello, I'm from the Cleveland Fanforce Chapter and I'll be in Rome next week for my friend's wedding. We are planning on staying for 2 weeks, and doing alot of sight-seeing after the wedding.

I was just wondering if you have any advice for a fellow Star Wars fan? One of the places I want to see is Lake Como, but that's about it for SW-related stuff.

Lake Como is a beautiful place to see, but it's quite far from Rome.

Instead, if you're interested in SW related stuff, my advice is to take a train to Caserta and visit the Royal Palace (Reggia di Caserta) there: it's the location where Lucas shot the interiors for Naboo Royal Palace, and it's absolutely amazing.

Plus, Caserta is quite close to Naples, Pompeii and Ercolano, so there are a lot of things to see. And it will be warmer than in the North .

io di solito posto su altri forum, qui ci passo ogni tanto per vedere se c'è un po' di movimento, ma come puoi vedere, la media è circa un messaggio alla settimana.

Credo che i fan italiani (che sono pochini in confronto a quelli americani e di altre nazioni europee) preferiscano frequentare altri forum, come quello di Cloud City o quello di Guerrestellari.net.

Io preferisco rimanere da queste parti, perchè c'è decisamente più movimento (stiamo parlando di circa 7000 messaggi al giorno e più di 200 forum dedicati all'universo di SW, un numero di utenti intorno ai 50.000!), anche se non su questo forum italiano....

 

certo che però è frustrante scrivere tutto in inglese!
mannaggia ma qui non passa proprio nessuno!

 

postare messaggi in inglese non è frustrante, ammesso che si conosca la lingua (e con questo caliamo un velo pietoso sulla situazione italiana).

Ribadisco...da queste parti di italiani se ne vedono pochissimi (e sui forum in lingua inglese del JC penso di essere l'unico da un bel po'...).

E' triste, ma se ai fan italiani piacciono di più quelle schifezze di forum (e siti) di GSnet o Cloud City, noi non ci possiamo fare niente. Ognuno ha quello che si merita, e il fandom italiano di Star Wars praticamente non esiste (ed è anche male organizzato, guarda quello che succederà all'uscita di Episode II, con l'Empirecon che cercherà di boicottare la proiezione in anteprima all'Arcadia di Melzo).
