What's to do there (like clubs, bars, tourist stuff, etc)?

 

Not really too much in the way of clubs. But some nice places to listen to music on Beale St.
There are nice restaurants downtown, Rendevous, etc. Also, go by Peabody Place downtown, it's pretty cool. There are also good restaurants in the Cordova area. Other than that, there are just tourist traps like Graceland.

 

I've heard Club 152 on Beale Street is pretty good. Also, if you're looking for more of a party atmosphere, several radio stations have things going on.

You could always travel a few miles south of memphis to the Grand Casino Tunica, loose your money, in turn helping me pay my house note Just a thought

 

Theres Graceland, of course. I've never been myself. My father almost got kicked out for laughing at the crying fans on his "death day."

 

Depends on what you're into. Like others said..downtown is pretty cool. Club 152 is alright. Beale St. of course. Lots of cool places out east too...up and down Germantown Rd in Cordova.

 

I'd be willing to bet you that you have a buddy there that's gonna take you to some never-heard-of, yet fantastic, rib joint. Then I bet he's gonna get you wasted and take you to Graceland.
