Sth Bend, IN Comment Of The Year

As recommend by TaunTaun We the Comment Of They Year contest! Post your nominations here and then there will be a poll posted on January 1st. The polls will close on January 8th.

Now the fine print:
Comment must be made between January 1, 2008 and December 31st 2008 in the South Bend forum.
You can nominate your own comments or another persons.
All nominations must be seconded in order to make it to the poll. Please quote the nomination when seconding.
Prize package will be announced on the posting of the poll.
Comments can be contained in the minutes of previous meetings as long as the meeting was during the contest year.
The winner of the contest is the person that made the comment, not the person nominating the comment.
In the event of a tie, comments will be put in a hat and a random winner will be draw.

I think MT would be ahead with just a monitor made in the last decade instead of a decommissioned cash register monitor from Burger King.

.....yes, I am still broke from that monitor purchase,

but it has lasted threw 3 different pcs.

I guess today's equivilent would be a giant plasma/lcd wall
monitor.

No it was the episode were someone was in trouble and came to the A-team for help. Then in the end the built a weapons armada out of everyday stuff and dynamite. They ended up getting the bad guys but were almost caught by the military police. Remember that episode.

Per the terms of this contest as outlined by BDZ, we are in need of either additional nominations, or a second of existing nominations.

 

Well, according to the rules of the contest, the only quote that got a second was ovr's post about MT monitor. If you want to continue the contest till the end of the weekend, I'm fine with that but we need more participation.

 

Then I make a motion that ovr30xrs is the winner with his monitor comment.

Let the new kid win.
