A well-funded university with the occasionally randomly goofy thing to make it look like it's cheap.
I'm pleasantly surprised by "The League," mostly because I set the bar so low based on the promos that featured forced football references -I guess to draw in sports guys. The thing is, the show works without the football stuff anyway, because the show can stand on some good characters. This is what killed 'Inside Schwartz' a terrible sitcom with lame characters and horrendous sports gags.
I'm in love with Señor Chang.
Britta: Nice of you to be here. I'm sure you'd rather be out with your hot professor.
Jeff Winger: Well, it's funny. I enrolled here as a selfish loner, but you and the group have given me a crash course in friendship.
Britta: She blew you off, huh?
Jeff Winger: She's grading papers.
Senor Chang: Professor Slater? She's not grading papers. She's at the faculty party in the cafeteria
Jeff Winger: Oh, look, it's the eavesdropping matador.
Senor Chang: Are you saying my people are sneaky?!
My knowledge will bite her FACE off.
I'm an artist. I write what I feel, and I feel that you suck.
I know a lot of critics keep saying Modern Family is better, and I do really love some elements of that show, but ultimately I think Community is a touch more my style. I really love Community. I'd been looking forward to it for quite some time since Joel McHale is the man.
And Tyler, you're welcome for the recommendation Now if only I can check and see if my other TV disciple Suzuki has seen it...

Do they have this show available online? I keep missing it.
Yes, it's an NBC show so the last five eps are on Hulu.
Oh cool. I just got my HTPC set up but I haven't checked Hulu out yet.
Yeah, I watch my NBC shows pretty much exclusively on Hulu.
Yeah, I find it pretty funny. It for the most part is getting better and better.
EL TIGRE CHINO!!!
I missed the first half of tonight's episode, so I'm going to have to catch it on Hulu myself.
I'm a TV disciple now? Well...alright. You're a brilliant matchmaker. Since the marriage, Community and I have both received high-paying jobs, a home, a Delorean DMC 12, and never have to pay taxes...ever--and most importantly, we can destroy zombies with our bare fists.
One of my favourite memories (possible spoiler alert):

Let me rest... gently on your pecs.
I hadn't been sold on the pilot, but it's been moving along pretty nicely. Love this show.
Good Lord this show is terrific. So many shows get hyped around here and really don't ever deliver the goods (How I met your Mother), but I can't stop laughing when I watch.
Yes, while it was still good, the pilot was nothing compared to how good this show has gotten.
Did someone order a sausage pizza?
...It's big and hot!
I love this show times infinity + 1
Some things are more connected than others. Like tarantulas and me peeing my pants.
The Goodfellas episode a couple weeks ago was off the chart. That was a high point of the TV season for me. So pitch-perfect.
Although earlier when I said I liked this more than Modern Family... I don't know. Now they're about tied. Different kinds of shows, and both have gotten better over their first seasons. I just wish there were more NBC viewers to support Community. It got a renewal but it needs to build to stay around very long.

Goodfellas episode was awesome. Especially Annie's Boobs, the flayed backpack Layla montage, and the way the show 180'd and became a Sixteen Candles episode at the end. Fantastic.
Also my favorite episode. Mostly for the blazers.
