In fairness, I think that's where everyone's mind goes.
This is easily the best episode of the season so far.
I was not that impressed with this weeks.
I laughed out loud more than all the previous episodes combined, I think. To each his own.(Maybe I just really like jokes about Germans).
I was kind of surprised to see the Deutschbags back.
lol, Angela Jerkel
"now let me get this as straight as i can get things"
i kind of wish i had no idea about dan harmon leaving. i find myself over-judging the show and wondering if it feels different. still i enjoyed this episode. the show still packs a lot into a half hour and always feels much shorter.
I think that might be my problem Tom. I'm going to rewatch it tonight. Might rewatch the whole season so far this weekend.
My husband keeps reminding me that they are new writers and they are learning the flow of things. And they are trying to cram as much story as possible into 14 episodes.

It did seem to lack that certain "oomph", but was still great. Awesome to see the Germans again, and the realisation that the group are in fact the "baddies" was well played.
And MALCOLM MCDOWELL!!!!
I liked Nick Kroll as the lead German better.
And lol at Annie covering up when Malcolm McDowell mentioned the incident with the co-ed.
THERE MUST BE NEARLY 100 LUFTBALLONS.
I'm really not liking this season
I thought last night's episode was great. It feels like you guys are really trying to look for reasons to hate this season...
No I've been optimistic! I just really felt like the dialogue has been...forced? And didn't match the characters as much.
I think they are forcing the character traits/quirks too much (the name/title replacement for Chang and the dean, for example), but that was already something that had started as far back as Season 2 ("Troy and Abed something something!"). The season isn't the greatest, yeah, but I'm trying to enjoy the (likely) last episodes of the show.
hey even though it got a 1.1 (again) it still had a higher rating than any other nbc show.
It was only 0.1 above an Office rerun. Practically the only other new broadcast episode last night was 1600 Penn, a show that was already DOA. There's a chance that NBC will renew it by default, yeah, but 1.1 (which was a series low for Community) is low even for that. I guess if it stabilizes?
That was my favorite line of the episode
I loved last weeks episode. And the first episode of the season.
I REALLY enjoyed tonight's episode. Seeing the group toghether in the study room always gives me the feels. Lots of great and touching moments. "Show me on the dinner roll where you were hurt!" LOL.
When I say thera, you say pist! Thera!
This season hasn't been terribly strong, but I at least like what they are doing with Britta's character. She seems somewhat more human than she has been for the last 2 seasons.
i didn't think the shawshank escape from shirley's idea was very well executed, but i liked the whole jeff's dad subplot a lot.
the dude from workaholics is the best thing to happen to community this season so far
nobody said pist
Happy Thanksgiving, guys. Christmas soon!
