London, ON community involvement projects

nah i'm more of a grey jedi. I pull both sides of the force.

 

Ok, I've talked with the volunteer coordinator at the women's centre on clark road. They would love to have us come in for the kids.

I'll be calling them back next week to make arangements to go in for a meeting to set it up.

They would like us to come out after the school year is out. So If you can and want to go, let me know what dates are best so that we can work it out. The end of June would be best. I'll need to tell them who is going for security reasons.

 

I should be able to go most likely on the 29th or when i'm done exams.

 

Good that will be a lest 3 of us.

 

Again, I can only go in the evenings or Monday and Tuesday.

 

Ok, are all the schools out for the 25 or 26 of June. because Rebellaka & DaleSabers have all readly said they wont be here for July 2 or 3.

 

yeah but thats the times that the exams are done. So it's only in the morning of those days that some of use won't be able to attend.

 

Yes that's you high school. Ask your little sister when she is do puplic school. After all it's little kids we're going to see.

ps. Dalesabers, the women community house on clark road and wellington are the same managment.

pss. I called the My Sister's place and they don't have any childern but will call me back about helping them with fund raising.

 

okay, I'd check her calender and it says that they get out on the 27th or the 28th. I'm not too sure though.

 

So we are looking at maybe the 29th or when you and Rebellaka are away.

 

Rebellaks & DaleSabers are both going away for the fisrt week of July. So maybe the 9th or 10th would be better if we can't get in for June.

I think we did plan a meeting for June 9th.

 

Ok, everyone.

We are going to the Women's Centre.
This is a visit for the children.
It will be an evening 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm.
They will be showing the children the movies before we get there. So that they can get to know the charactors. They will be giving the children a snacks and treats. They will have workers that will stay with us when we are there.

We need people who can do a friendly lightsaber demonstration.
We have aranged for an indoor demonstration so that the sabers will look good. You should try to choreograph the demonstrations a head of time. If someone wants to do a solo demo that would be cool too.just let me know.
We Also need anyone with a costume.
We are aiming for the 3rd week of July, any day of the week is good.
So let me know when you can go.
We will be giving out trooper masks, scrunchies and bandanas. If you can help please let me know.

These are the requirements and they are a must.
You must abide by the rules of confidentiality to attend.
A list of the members going must be handed in 2 weeks in advace. This is a list of real names not screen names.

i don't know yet. I'm only just starting at canadian tire on monday.
