I have been searching for community services projects to do for SFFF. As a group we should post causes, what they stand for & all the info about them. Then we can vote for one cause SFFF would like to support continuously or we can help a different group every so often. So please start posting!

Okay since none of you guys have come up with any groups/organizations...I will start it off:

    Organization: Children's Book Project
Address: 45 Holly Park Circle, S.F., CA 94110
    Phone#: (415) 647-2042
    URL: www.childrensbookproject.org
How do they help the community?
Help build literacy by putting books into the hands of children who otherwise might not have any. Since 1992, they have given over 500,000 free books to kids & the facilities that serve them
    What we could do:
We could hold book drives. Or collect books at every meeting. Or have a fundraiser & donate the proocedes to them.

I think I there are a few books I could get rid of around here. We can bring it up further at the meeting on Saturday.
