Compression and web diffusion

    Hey all,

    I'm kinda new to video editing and all. So I made this 10 second choreography and all it it's like 100 megs (720 x something)!

    What resolution should I take for the Net, which format and compression do you recommend?

    Check out this thread from a few pages back for a pretty good compression discussion, including links to several codecs. (Mmmmm. Think I'll add this to the Tutorials thread.)

    The resolution is really up to you and your tolerance for file size. Basically, compress at full size and checkout how big the file is. Then start dropping the resolution until you've got the file to where you like it.
