I have this problem too.... it blows.

Instead, i just use an AVI compressor. No small file size, but...

    This problem should be solved.

There's no reason that After Effects should have problems compressing to Quicktime. What version of AE and QT do you have, and what are your exact export settings?

Sorry, I guess I wasn't specific enough - it would be helpful if you gave us the detailed export settings. :) As in what quality do you have it set at, are you limiting the bitrate, etc.

    Hope that helps!

When you try the Sorenson 3 compression, try taking off 'Fast Start' at the bottom of the setting. Sorry if not specific, I learned after taking/clicking off 'Fast Start' the compression for me is alot more satisfactory. But even with 'fast start' off depending on the file size it might be a bit larger but will be smaller if you had 'fast start' on.

Right now I don't need 'fast start' and I dont think I ever will even for my fanfilm(s) im wanting to make. Sorry, again, if this isnt specific enough, so good luck.

Yuck, first of all, I would increase your bitrate a bit, then compress your audio more. It should even out filesize wise, and look better.
Also turn off fast start and internet streaming.

I concur with beafet - get rid of that data rate limit and use IMA 4:1 for the audio. Then make sure you're not getting the video ready for internet streaming and it should be muuuuch better.

    Good luck!
