MN Con of the North - Feb 16-18 2007! In St Paul - Minnesota!

Con of the North is the Twin Cities' longest running games convention, run by an all-volunteer organization dedicated to bringing you the best in gaming every year!
Con of the North 2007 is February 16-18 at the Holiday Inn St. Paul East in St. Paul, Minnesota!

Roll playing: AD&D and 3.5, Cthulhu, Big eyes small mouth, Buffy RPG, Serenity, home-brew games with puppets! CCG games: Magic, Pirates! War games, board games (Redneck Life!), minature games, hero clix, LotR, computer games, Midimaze, clay olympics, or just grab a bunch of ramdom people from the hallway and start up any kind of game! And many many more games to choose from!!!

And the first ever at this con - IN THE POOL RPG!
Yes, that's right! you will actually be in the pool - roll playing! So sign up early -spots are limited!! And remember to pack your swimsuit!!

This sounds pretty cool. I wish I knew about this type of stuff when I lived in Minneapolis, which was 6 yrs ago.

 

Yeah, it's not a widly advertized con because they don't have the money in the budget to push it. It's mostly thru word-of-mouth and The Source up in Falcon Heights.
