Actually, I don't think there will be any Star Wars fast food tie-ins. Disney stopped doing those a few years back because they didn't want to be linked with childhood health problems.

 

Tom Hiddleston as Loki, the trickster God, who lands on Courscant after getting punched really, really hard by his brother Thor through the galaxy. Loki lands right in Palpatine's office, a week after Vader got his new outfit (and Plapy JUST got the window fixed, too). Hilarity ensues.

Long before the prequel trilogy was even announced, Lucas spoke about how Jabba and his bounty hunters were instrumental in helping the Empire hunt down the last remaining Jedi. Jabba even had a cut line during his conversation with Luke that hinted to it: "I was killing your kind before you were even born."

When the prequels were announced, I was expecting this to feature in the final episode. I was really disappointed when it became obvious that this wasn't going to happen.

I wouldn't mind seeing a spin-off based on the last Jedi being hunted.

Eh, I'm pretty sure dozens of "What if" spinoff scenarios are being thrown around the table.
You could just pick a random (more or less) sane theory from these boards and it would have as much gravity as that rumor up there.
Way too early to tell, we don't even know what the Episodes are about, much less the stand alones.

Yes. Honestly, TFN must stop posting cosmicbooknews “scoops”. It’s just giving them traffic, which is clearly what they want. They are 100% lying every time they post a “scoop”. Really, they are a notorious laughing stock. None of their scoops ever make it to other websites, because all the other sites know not to go anywhere near them. I don't want the stand alone movies to be origin stories we have video games/books/tv shows for that i want the stand alone films to be unique and original

On the off chance that that winds up being true, I would be very pleased with an Obi-Wan film set between RotS and ANH. Though I'm not sure that Maul would be the best choice for the antagonist...
