Took a look over at www.MediumAtLarge.net, the official blog of Reed, and they posted the following CONFIRMED GUESTS last Friday (ooops):

I want as many Episode V cast to be there as possible.

 

Correction, my mistake, those are the attending guests for the CV pavilion at C2E2, the Chicago Con next month promoting CV.

 

I'd say its a good bet if they're at C2E2 they will also be @ CV. Especially the usuals (Vader, 3P0, R2, Maul, Chewie, Ect..).

 

I believe on sw.com, it said that a good portion of the guests will be from Empire and Clone Wars.

 

Just updating with news that Jay Laga'aia will be hosting at C5 as well.

 

I am curious to see another celebrity try the hosting gig out, but Jay is a great host and I hope he sings Celebration again at opening ceremonies!

 

I thought Jay was great at CIV.

 

Hopefully Jay will bring his Captain Typho costume again!

 

I was really hoping for that one Pilot that was at the Yavin Ceremony at the end of A New Hope. The one on the left hand side of the walkway...last row...all the way on the right. I heard he was an excellent speaker!!

From that same scene, they should get the guy who reaches up to scratch his nose behind Chewie when he gives a roar to his right as they walk up towards Leia.

Due to a series of unfortunate situations involving David Prowse, LFL has officially revoked his invitation to Celebration V.

No reason given.

Too bad.

"People vs. George Lucas" documentary.

Unfortunately, LFL is altering the deal. I pray they don't alter it any farther. I was looking forward to seeing him.

 

So DARTH VADER has been banned? I call BS, and if true, I hope he does a repeat of Celebration I: show up uninvited, get a hotel room, and sign autographs there all weekend!

Last I had heard was Fan Days III last October was his last con for several months due to recovering from much needed knee/hip surgery. Then I saw this week he's doing a store event in Manchester at the Lowry outlet Mall. Maybe LFL wasn't happy about that? I thought given that other SW characters were there that maybe this was a 501st event...
