Exactly. You badge fee doesn't cover anything except your ticket in. That money is going toward paying for the facilities, utilities, staffing, and more costs that it takes to hold a convention.

You will be responsible for any food and extras that you want to spend (such as autographs, merchandise, etc).

 

At Comic-Con, I think Official Pix had the SW actors sign your program for FREE. I think that was only on Sunday though. Not sure if they did that at CIV, or will do it at CV.

 

Hmmm, I wonder why Jake Lloyd was a Special Guest at CIV, but will be a regular guest for CV.

As I understand it, at CV a photo to get signed will be included in the price.
If that is the case, then this means that many guests will actually be cheaper this time.

 

Which do you prefer - bringing your own OPX photos with you to have signed or selecting from the available assortment of pics at each celeb's table?

I prefer to bring my own OPX pics to a Celebration so I am assured of having a specific pic autographed and avoid possible duplicates.

 

What I am doing for this celebration is taking a ESB movie poster and have as many ESB guest sign it as I can.

 

If you were asking me, then at CIV I had preordered the complete pack of photos with logo.
But for CV I am planning to bring my own photos to get what I want.

 

Nahh, just tossing it out there to everyone.

I like to have my "Sith" characters sign their photos using a red Sharpie and the "good" guys in blue.

 

I actually like to have actors sign comics that have their characters featured prominently on the cover. Usually it's a good conversation piece then. I've had a few actors start reading the comics right before they signed them.

Seems odd though that the ticket pre-sale would go into effect before all of the scheduled guests are officially announced. Have to make a rough estimate as to how many Standard tickets you will need, and then place another order(s) if more Special Guests are announced for their respective tickets.

 

They also went on sale before all the guests was announced at CIV.
I remember buying tickets for Carrie and Anthony first and then I wanted to wait and see about the others, but all of the sudden they had removed the possibility to buy autograph tickets.

 

Did they? Must've forgotten that (was 2007 that long ago?) I pre-ordered my OPX tix for CIV as well and received a #1 wristband. Hope my good fortune continues with my CV tix.

I was wondering what to bring for Mark to sign in case he shows up.

 

I have lithe from the animated batman series that we bought for our oldest, he's nineteen. Great ones of the joker. That is what I hope to one day have signed by him. Or one of the 12in dolls. I have the vader signed by prowse.

 

Seems Sansweet isn't telling the truth. Dave Prowse posted on his web site that this is in fact true! LFL have banned him from Celebration V and any LFL event.

How can you have Celebration without Darth Vader?

So (to clarify) $50 for Carrie and Anthony covers a picture AND an autograph? And the same deal for the $20 characters? Will these prices go up if I buy tickets at the event? If I didn't want a picture, these prices also cover items from home, right? And an autograph ticket doesn't allow more than one person in line? Thanks for taking the time to help me!
