Still a little iffy about the drive to Davis. I have a horrible sense of direction and I tend to panic in unknown areas. I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into coming. She said she wants to be watergirl for the movie because she gets to be pretty and there's no skill involved.

Incidentally, since I'm kind of a non-contributor right now, I was wondering if you wanted me to make a website. I'm still tied up with the site for Broken Allegiance 2, but will hopefully have it done in three weeks. Don't think I can reveal BA2, but you can see how far I got with the Tally Two site before putting it off. You can also check out a site I made for what looks like may be a defunct collaboration.

 

Yes, Oct 8 is correct drippy. It's going to be at Tionne's house. We are going to Choereograph the fighting, and go over the lines with the main players. I will also try to bring my dolly and camera and see if we can figure out some really good shots and angles for the fight scenes.

 

Dude, you're doing the site for BA2? That rocks so hard.

I got us a Sudo, Roger aka Punkroge said he's down as long as chris and I can work out a costume and makeup for him. so it's a done deal.


LDV and I spoke about it some more as we wandered the halls of Target and it's great to see this thing running on full steam.

and with Kevin and Pacman in the fold things are about to hit hyperspace.

Yep, October 8th, my place, sometime after 4 pm. Bring a few bucks to order a pizza and drinks and whatnot. Also, bring whatever pieces of your costume you have so we can see if it will work or what adjustments need to be made.

also I sent this LDV (more than once I think my PM's are acting nuts.)

I think we should get a list of anyone's assets for production.

equipment, costumes, costume materials, possible props..etc.

I have:
1. brown cloak
2. black cloak
3. Black hooded cape
4. Brown Material, enough for another cloak actually.
5. Black leather type material for jedi/sith belts.
6. Various electronic parts for props, the dreamcast memory card, three old cell phones, and various wires and cpu parts.
7. One black ninja costume (good quailty)
8. A cheesy black death robe.

Might have more need to look.

but anyway I have an idea..well two.

First: we could possibly get some help from the SF Fanforce.

Second: If we need some Jedi extra's I could get the Atlanta Fanforce (maybe) to film them against a blue/green screen and we could filter them in. Let me know and I can put the call out to them...naturally we wont tell them the script...yet.

Just thinking of any little bit to help our production become the most powerful fanfilm in the galaxy!!

i threw my sith costume together. i wear a turtle neck then my dark robe then tabbards and belt i can wear the hood with the paint it will look alright.

This is what we need for the movie:

PROPS

Data Pad ? Data of names being sold to Sudo
Credit Box ? Box used to store credit chips in. (Used to hit Cengwen in the head)
Credit Chips ? Three in total given to Cengwen as pay off
Holographic Projector ? used to display the names on Data Pad.
Entry Key Pad ? Used by Runn to seal doors.
4 Blasters ? Blasters for two thugs, one for Sudo and one for Cengwen
Jedi Communicator ? For Runn to call for all clear.
Sensor ? Runn uses to look for life forms on the moon.
Energy Swords ? 2 Energy Swords ? one for Runn/Fitsu and one for Godric
Sith Swords ? Three Swords ? 2 for Sith Knights and 1 for Sith Lord Tarragon
Light Saber ? Two sabers ? One for close ups and detail and one for Fighting

Yeah, sure. The more the merrier. You just need to make sure that they know what they are doing when it comes to filming on the bluescreen. There are a lot of little details to work out due to the nature of the VFX shot, but it could work and it could be cool.

 

just let me know what we need for pick up and extra shots from them and I'll get on it.
We could have them film some scenes of Jedi's dying...falling down close ups and that sort of thing. edit them in with other shots.

just a thought if it's lame let me know.

 

If they know how to film in blue screen mode, I guess it would work. Also, if we get them to show Jedi's dying, then they will have to make sure the Sith use swords.


Also, we will have to write new dialogue for the Fitsu/Godric conversation concerning the weapons. We can play that dialogue over the killing scenes.

 

Send me a list of what we need and how to do it and I'll ask what they can do for us.

 

well lets film our stuff first and then we'll decide if we need them to help populate our little world. We can't just have them start filming shots without reference angles that match our plates.

So just put some feelers our there and see what comes back.

Since we're all doing costume inventory.

I have:
-black high-necked shirt
-black pants
-black boots
-black gloves
-short cape to wear over shoulders

-Jedi tunic/tabbards/pants/cloak/belt
-brown boots
-lightsaber hilt (for end credit scenes)
-razor thingy to make a communicator, just need to paint it

-lots of black and white make-up
-some colored face paint
-black hair dye

I agree with Pac on getting our major scenes done first. If we decide we need more background characters we can go from there. Let's just get this ball rolling with our choreography meeting. Qui Gundi, can you make it on the 8th?

 

The more I think about it the less I think the 8th will work for me. I have a big speech due the next day, and will no doubt have homework in my astronomy class. Choreography will take 4 hours at least, and coupled with drive time, if we start at 4 that doesn't leave me with much time. Any way we can push it to that Saturday, maybe around 2ish?

hmmm we need to figure this out, we need lots of practice and prep.

 

I'm just saying, a choreography meeting that late in the day isn't gonna help much.
