Sac, CA Confrontation the Fan Film

Are you talking about the 11th Joe? As far as the fight scenes go, I want everyone to have as much practice as possible. I am going to push everyone involved for good fight scenes. I don't want any of them looking fake and staged. They will flow quickly. You are the key figure Joe. No one else can practice fighting without you, due to all fights revolving around you. The 11th is squeezing the schedule more than it already is to hit a late October filming date. I am up for the 11th, but that means all damn day practicing, getting this down. We haven't even recited lines yet. I will be bringing all my camera and filming equipment to get the fighting shots I need. So, we need commitment here people.


Also, sacul... I have got the bases for the new dialogue between Fitsu and Godric done. I will send it to you shortly.

 

That's why I don't want a half-ass meeting. We'd be rushing if we put that much of a time restraint on ourselves. I know you want this done fast, but in all honesty I'd rather take longer but have the final product be better.

 

It wouldn't be a half-assed meeting. At the very least, we would be able to rehearse our lines and make sure the flow is there. And the stunts that are going to be used in this need to be discussed and thought through.

But, the 11th it is, if everyone else is in agreement. That will be a very long day.

Also, if you would please, ask Kevin if he would like to play the part of the Republic Officer.

I'll make changes I guess I had Chris and Roger both set for the 8th...I'll look at the 11th and see but I'm at work so I honestly don't now right off the bat until I talk with them.

 

Arrrrggg! I suppose the 11th will work for me. I will know for sure by tomorrow when I have the cast list and schedule for the musical I auditioned for. But we do need EVERYONE there! I don't care if I have to drive around Sac and pick you up, bound and gag you, and stuff you all in my little Escort and force you to listen to "The Producers" all the way back to Davis if that's what it takes.

I can make the 11th in Davis, though I'm not sure what I could necessarily do to help. Also, where is it gonna be, and where's the pizza from?

 

Or maybe not. There IS a home football game, and I have an almost moral obligation to support my Ags. My friends and I had a five-game streak of getting pizza for being the loudest fans in our section, and we have a reputation to keep.

 

No spaceship this week. So we'll have to push those shots to the back of the schedule. Looking at my schedule over the next couple of weeks........I think we are going to backload the entire schedule with the VFX shots, due to amount of stuff i have to do over the next couple of weeks.

I would even suggest shooting the interior spaceship shots (probably only 4 or five) sometime in November.

 

Drippy, if you decide you can make it, it's at my place (PM me if you want directions) and pizza will be from Woodstock's or Steve's or wherever we decide to get it.

well good news, my job at sprint had a schedule change which was going to make me work Saturdays...but Saculio found a new job and it's Mon-Fri. so Sprint can kiss my sithly @$$!! (good lord that company sucks, and let me tell take a close look at your bill...strange things happen on those things...strange things indeed.)

 

No prob pacman. I figured we could do all the f/x shots at the end after principles are done. That will give me more time to set up the frame of the ship.

Sacul..... coolio!!! And yeah, I loved the pod race scene you were adding. I also rendered Batman again and watched it brighter. I saw the scene you were talking about. Three words.... HOLY HOPPERS SACUL!! I like that shot. Hmmmmmm [starts to figure effects shots for that scene] hmmmmm

 

So is this gonna be a full-blown, all-day meeting? We can go over lines, choreography, and maybe even rehearse a little.

By the way, go with Woodstock's, or Papa Murphy's if you wanna save money. Steve's is expensive, and I don't know anyone who's worked there and enjoyed the experience.

 

I think we are meeting around 2pm, but I'm flexible. We can start earlier if people can be there. We could always use another set of eyes to see how camera angles might look for fight scenes, or to just critique our limited acting abilities.

Woodstock's sounds good, it's one of my favorite places here.

 

I'm up for anytime. Earlier the better. Then I can start the drive home before it gets dark.

It's just one of my greatest fears is getting lost. I missed my exit on the freeway my first day of college and almost died.

Umm I am up for anytime. I will be lugging alot of camera stuff there so I can get the good angles ahead of time for the fight scenes. I am currently working on templates for swords made out of wood.
