    I think he's more than fitting to deserve this award. He's certainly deserved it after all, producing some of the world's greatest and unforgetable movies!

    He's probably getting is as much for his contributions to the way films are made as for his movies. He pioneered CGI,Digitial sound, and other film technologies that have become standard.
    But I did a little stab of being mortal when I read he was the 33rd recipeint. I can remember watching the first recipient, John Ford, get the award back the early Seventies.
