Connecting the PT to the OT. [possible spoiler]

With the announcement of Chewie making a cameo in Ep.3 there has been alot of people saying this will connect the PT to the OT.

I thought they were already connected.
They all have the name SW.
They all have the openning scroll.
The music for the most part is the same except for added themes.
Tatooine is in the OT and PT.
3PO,R2,Obiwan,Palpy,Anakin,Owen,Beru,Jabba,Boba are all in the PT and OT.

Don't get me wrong, I love Chewie and am glad he'll be in the next episode but I hadly think he is the reason the OT and PT will be connected. They already are.

 

So whats the topic here?

Or are you just stating your opinion on the matter? ?

Well speeking of Chewie, I think he will have a rescue roll in EpIII. Perhaps he gives Obi a ride to tatooine? How come Obi appears to get along quite well with Chewie when they first meet in ANH?

Chewie will bring the saga together, I know it.

I can see all kinds of ways to link the prequels with OT. Any decent writer, who knows the twists and turns of the story could find a way. Some of them are already evident.

Both.

It amazes me though that people believe, only now, since Chewie will be in EP.3, that the OT and PT will be finally connected.

The PT and OT have been connected since TPM.

 

Yeah they're certainly already connected. Chewie connects it even more.
