Connections between world religions, could Shintoists be Jews?

    I found this site very interesting, it has several links between Judaism and Shinto, I find the most interesting is that the sacred mirror that is one of the three symbols of Japanese power has writting on the back that could possible have Jehovah written on it in Hebrew.

    Would have it even been possible for a group of Jews to travel from the Middle East to Japan?

    BTW, I almost left out a critical "n" on the title, good thing I caught it eh? ;)

    Maybe it's me, but I don't see this sustaining it's own discussion when it could easily fit into the existing Judaism thread. If you can prove me wrong, PM me. :)
