FF:QLD Considering Episode 3 viewing for next Saturday....

Anyone have any thought on gathering for an official viewing of Episode 3 after it comes out next week?

I was considering having it at my house on Saturday night with my big screen, but I live so far north side.. Bray Park, I'm not sure anyone'd be up for it.

Thoughts? Will everyone have already seen it like 5 times by then anyway?!

 

I'd crawl over a mile of broken glass to get to a big screen projector set-up... if there was a decent sound system to go with it.

 

I'll be in town househunting or applying for places, so yeah, I'd be able to make it. It's on my way home.

 

I might be up for it. Although I'd prefer a venue with a less imposing home theatre system, where we could discuss the finer points of the film and also titter unkindly where required (you're breaking my heart anyone?).

It's got a decent sound system Dan but isn't pitch black fortunately or unfortunately, and tittering may take place if needed

Sounds almost like a plan. MInd you if it's before 8 there's gonna be a little one destroying the purity of our viewing ANd I obviously don't have the sound system at maximum with a kid sleeping.

Well... it doesn't have to be ear-drum rupturingly loud. Just provide good sound quality.

And yes it's decent sound quality. My husband installs car stereos for a living ( and uses classical music to tune them, so has a good ear )

Yes, it took me about a minute to walk back to their house.

 

I'll be finishing work at 8:30 next Saturday, and I might possibly be able to wrangle getting out half an hour earlier. So I can probably be there around 9 or so. What time are you looking at kicking off?

Deleted scenes first and a few extras , movie around 9ish or so??

I'll try to get this organised by Tuesday Wednesday and let everyone know that it's "okay to go!" then. But I guess I'll be watching it anyhoo, so it's on

It was brought to my attention last night that I had already comitted myself to another event this Saturday night. Thus I will have to bail unless you want to post pone it to the following week end? I'll understand if you can't however.

 

Twould be fun. However I will be attending an PCCQ/AF Peugeot drive-day and probably will be too tired after driving through all the twisties up to O'Reilly's. Now I just have to decide which pug to take...

Can always reheat them in the oven. And before you ask...just bring whatever sort you like!!

Drinks are fine too! You're welcome to crash on my couch/floor if people don't want to drive home!

Oh and if anyone's got any of those beach chairs..lowish sorta things, or beanbags, bring one to sit on.

Although I'm really only expecting about 6 of us so we should be cool.
