MN CONvergence

Most of you know already about CONvergence. A Minneapolis con July 6-8. Preregistration is due May 15--and you can't do it online. For more info visit theCONvergence site.

 

Links are a good thing, but the JC people need to change the default link color away from white.

There's a Bobafett icon, and a Mandolorian one.

The Boba Fett is too small for my tastes. I like the Mandalorian too--know an ever so dreamy guy with that as a tattoo, but I digress. I thought I'd go with a lesser picked character for awhile.

 

I've got to display my two great loves - R2D2 and Luke!

I'm crossing my fingers that they'll add some EU characters down the line. Like a Mara one maybe...

 

Lisa, I know you like Mara, but you don't like Shannon Baksa. I'm surprised you chose her as your icon!

 

I think she looks okay as Mara in this photo. I don't like the shot of her in the Luke and Mara icon, though.

 

BTW, back to the original topic, I registered!

 

So did I! I finally got my registration form filled out, printed, and mailed with a check last Wednesday. So it should get there in time....

Now what about room arrangements? ::chuckle::

Registration must be postmarked by today. You still have three hours (or whenever your post office closes).

 

Or drive r-e-a-l-l-y fast, so fast, in fact that time slows, stops and then ultimately reverses, giving you all the time you need to get the registration in.

And while your at it, go back a couple years and don't let me wear those brown shoes with that black suit in 1996.

 

Well, I didn't register in time. I'll have to pay the extra money at the door. Actually even though its $15 or something more dollars, it works out better for me because I'm really tight on money right now and that problem should be resolved somewhat by then.

 

Is there by chance an individual cost for each day at the door? I would assume they wouldn't want to turn away single day visitors.
