Coolest game ever

What is the coolest game you have ever played, Whether you owned it or not?

O' yeah, I like almost all RPG's, and many other games to, but my favorite would probobly be Mystic Heroes right now.

There are a lot of cool games I have played including Mystic Heroes. I can't decide which is the coolest.

 

Jedi Outcast, X-Wing Alliance,Neverwinter Nights, and Age of Mythology.

 

AoM is one of the coolest games if you ask me.

Doesn't get much better then this. The sound affects are amzing.

Mario Party, Super Smash Bros.(+ melee), Mario Kart, Mario... Anything thats "Mario" or multiplayer.

Nothing better than beating your friends in a dress as peach.

O yeah and the occasional online SOCOM game. Using the headset-"this area'a clear no snipers spotted, wait... i see the enemy, dang they saw me and are aiming strait at me, get over hear there by th(BANG!)........"
Now thats cool

 

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker.
Nothing even comes close to this game well maybe Metroid Prime but its still far behind.

 

Warcraft III

Galactic Battlegrounds falls down in the graphics department, ditto JKII, and I haven't played Zelda or AoM

the new Vietcong game is awsome!!! play it online! it is the greatest fun

 

Bounty Hunter and SOCOM

 

Anything with Sonic. He is the epifiny of cool.

 

Jet Grind Radio. The first time I played it I was in such awe.

Well, I don't necessarily play games too much myself. I watch my husband most of the time.

However, I have a couple that I can mention that I did play and enjoyed and a couple that I didn't play and enjoyed.

First off, I always loved playing ToeJam and Earl the original and am having fun playing the current installment. Also, I have to say that GTA3 is more fun than GTA:Vice City, but that's our opinion. And we always crack up when we think about the oiginal GTA when they guy says, "Piece of ****." That always cracks us up.

Now for the games I watched, more recently, although a few years ago, I have to say I loved watching Metal Gear Solid. Hideo Kojima did an awesome job with that game and I loved watching the story unfold. Every once and a while I'll still put the disc in and play all the cinemas. *sigh* I might just do that tonight, come to think of it. The scene with Sniperwolf after their second fight was just awesome.

The other game that was just cool, was Earthworm Jim: Special Edition on the Sega CD system. The various endings were hysterical!! OMG! Even the "bad" ending wa absolutely hysterical. Actually, I think we liked that one the most! Although the best ending also had some good lines too. "If your sitting in jail, sentenced for life, you can say to your self, 'Shiny said, You're the Best.'"

Metal Gear Solid= BEST PSX GAME EVER
MGS2 was good but I would have preferred a remake of MGS on PS2 with better graphics cutscenes and more interactivity like there was in MGS2

 

This kinda tie between two games.
The legend of Zelda: The Orcarina of Time
or
Phantasy Star Online [When Connected to the internet]

 

Doh! I completely forgot about PSO!!! [face_shocked] Bad ME! We were only addicted to that game for a year! We still have PSO buds we talk to and can't wait until we can all get back together.

 

Can't decide on just one, so I'll mention one per platform:

PC: Jedi Outcast (so I'm SW biased... )

PSX: Metal Gear Solid

PS2: GTA Vice City

Xbox: Halo (until Halo 2 is released, I guess.)

I just played this game again yesterday. To this day, no game can hold my attention like Shadowgate can...well, maybe Columns. I guess Columns and Shadowgate are tied for me.
