after my last post I decided that this page would be sweet so here are the rules.
1)were not talking about "neat" quotes, were talking about quotes that stayed in your head or heart and/effected your life.
2)can be from t.v. or movies
3)If the quote is not self-explainitory then add the circumstances in which it was said.

 

the first time i watched looney tunes...i heard bugs bunny say "what's up, doc." i don't know...that just really effected me. because even though i was six, i could feel his existential angst. and not in that sartre...i.e. being and nothingness kind of way...more in the albert camus, the stranger, type of way...where he's always trying to get to the beach and taking the wrong turn. i guess i sort of felt that way at the time...as if i was "waiting for godot." so when bugs said that...he wasn't just being coy...but instead really asking "what's UP, doc?" you know...like holden's "where do the ducks go?" what is out there? what makes people tick? what is the meaning of life? and i guess that would have to be my favorite quote...because sometimes...when the world is quiet...and i'm alone...i can't help but think..."what is up, doctor? what is up?"

 

That is freakin' hilarious. I hope that was the intention.
