Saga Corusca Gems!

As Palpatine in the ROTS novel asked Anakin just prior to where Palpatine revealed that he was the Darth Sidious Sith Lord they were after - he did mentioned 'a glass of water? A Bag of Corusca Gems? Ask and it is yours...'

A few weeks earlier in February on a whim I wrote this short one about Corusca Gems:

Sharp as they would be Dazzling … the Soul and Mind,

Forever Shining and Burning … as if a mini-furnace within a Star Forge,

Borne of Heat and Pressure…from the airs off the Prime of Yavin,

From the Pressure where the Yavin’s Core would liquefy to the air,

The scattering of particles in the Crystals…

Scraping of Liquid, Mass and Materials,

Only one with Shatter Points … could one detect the flaws in the Natural Skill,

The Final Product,

A Dazzling Beauty of Ideal Transparency,

Sharper than a Serrated of all Blades…be it not the glow of a Saber,

Slicing through Transparisteel as if it were Jam,

Tougher than Bronzium,

Harder than Diamond,

Shiner than Aurodium,

More Precious than the Stars of Nova,

An unparalleled Vibrancy,

That could shatter the Tranquil of a Galaxy,

Alas, named after a Core World’s City…

Credits worth the Billions … if not Vigintillions…

A Rarity only a Select Few in the Galaxy,

From the Industrial Drills … to the Jeweller’s Pride and Delight,

For even a Small bag … was but worth a System’s Tribute,

Mere trinkets of this precious gem…worth beyond a Magnate’s Lifetime of Dreams…

Corusca Gems we be … and you be but eternally dazzled … the moment we you had see…

Even Jedi themselves … would use one of in their Blades…
