I'll probably come as Luke Skywalker ( ROTJ ) jumpsuit if my clone doesn't arrive...

BTW, we do have a terrace available at Loyang for this event... but whoever's going to the terrace or staying overnight with us will have to chip in and share the cost.

Hi guys,

Just an update on the skit. I'm writing the script as I'm typing this, so it has to be approved by everyone first, but I just wanted to give early notice, knowing some people don't check the boards everyday.

1. There will be a Mandalorian, and it's most likely Jacen.
2. I need a local law enforcement officer type character, anyone up for the role? Preferably one with a Imperial costume, maybe one of the 501st guys? GetzJedi?
3. There will be chances for anyone in costume to be in the skit, there is a scene taking place in a busy street, so anyone in costume can be extras-atmos.
4. I seriously doubt the new shipment of the FX will be in before July 10th, as such, we will be needing a red FX. Anyone got one to loan? Do take in mind that it will be used in a lightsaber duel. Although I have already passed down instructions for the actors to train hitting softer than what I saw on Fri.

Any help in any of this dept would be really really appreciated.

I am so glad u wan me for your mandalorian......but I do not have a completed Costume as yet..........Thou I might be able to provide some prototype Jango ARMOR which I most prob dont need....

 

I'll do the mandalorian if Jacen can't make it. But I'll be needing to get a Fett Bucket to borrow, cause my armour doesn't have one. LMK if got more in.

waiting for confirmation for our mystery real female mandalore before i reveal details on it.

 

I know, but my costume is always up for loan. I am just in the film to make props, so I can add something else into my resume... Hehehehe....

 

no no we're talking cosfest alone, not the film, that one we can settle long time later. for now we're gonna concentrate on our little group skit on cosfest

 

ok now that i have confirmation, i shall reveal who will play the part for the female mandalorian...

it is.... *drum roll* SUE! aka jedi_healer

based on how frequently she has been attending the events and meetings together, me and mr producer have chosen sue as the female mandalorian for the cosfest group skit. there were other choices, but the fact that the other choices were rather busy, and have not been active in the forum/events/meetings, we had to assume that they wont be able to help out..

now, jacen and xeno, since neither of u have a complete mandalorian outfit, could u 2 liase and discuss with each other wat parts u have/dun have and try to mix and match and loan us/her as complete a costume as possible?

and xeno, confirm u will be playing the imp, do u have an imp outfit somehow? and as i've spoken with u over the phone a while ago, pls liase with fatimah for the group skit registrations and get a later slot for the skit? reasons being sue has church in the morning so even if most of the skit crew comes in hrs before the start of the event, sue wont be around to practise on stage, we're gonna have to make up for lost time by having a later slot and hope we can do some last minute practises if necessary.

as for the saber training, it will continue from tmr onwards first. i'm not sure when the script will be out, but i hope latest wed evening, coz sue can onli start attending practises(be it acting or fighting) from thursday onwards and as for sat's full dress rehearsal, we would need to have a morning slot, as some of us have things going on afternoon onwards.

Hey Guys,

Could you please confirm who's going to CosFest, latest by tomorrow? I need to know who's going so I can confirm the pool of people I have to choose the voice talents from. Also, if you're interested in being or can be the voice talents, please indicate in the list below next to the character of your choice. We really are short handed on this. These are the people reading the script during the skit BEHIND stage. Meaning you do not appear on stage (hence no stage fright)

During the disscussion we're decided it's impratical to have the actors hold the mike and act, especially during the fight. And it's too last min. for me to book the studio and pre-record the vocals. Also thru exprience, stage has a way of screwing the timing of everything up. Hence that's a bad idea too.

So, in summary, we need voice talents. All 5 of them.
