New Jersey Costume Day Workshop Invite

Ok, I have read your lastest meeting minutes and if anyone is interested in making their own costumes, I am hosting a Costume Day Workshop at my house near King of Prussia, PA.
I will go over the basics about choosing fabric, reading a pattern, altering a pattern, simple sewing techinques and alitte bit into prop building as well.
If anyone is interested, just post here are go to the King of Prussia message board where there is a thread there as well.

Just a question, when is this meeting? I wanna work on my Anakin costume, but depending on date, I'll see if I can head home. Of course, with midterms coming up and Spring Break only a month away.

Yeah...we kinda knew that.

 

I am working on getting a Costuming Workshop at my mother's house sometime during the summer. My mom will also be in attendance and assisting in costuming. I already asked her for some of her time and she said fine, we'll just need to come up with a date as soon as it gets closer to the summer. I'll keep you posted.

Oh yeah, I can't come in March, I have newspaper duties and will be indisposed up here in the Bronx.

 

Today is the perfect day to work on your costume. It's snowing and you can't go anywhere! (At least I can't!)

 

It would help if I had material here Marie.

I'm in my room with some food and drink just watching the snow. I don't have a sewing machine at school.

Mal, I just found out that family is coming this weekend...so, I will not be making it.

 

I wish I could come but I have midterms this week and next week, plus I have newspaper production as well.


Midterms = teh suck

 

I need to postpone this workshop and will have a "rain date" posted in the near future. So if anyone who wanted go to but couldn't before, there's still hope yet!
