Costume Groups?

I know about the 501st but are there any other costume groups for say Jedi?

There is the Rebel Legion, which encompasses Jedi and many other good guys.
They have an over 18 age requirement to join, though.

There's also the jedi assembly.

I doubt you can find one that will accept minors.

 

I'm not a member, but if you are looking for just Jedi then you may want to try The Jedi Assembly.

However as pointed out above, if you are looking for the good guy equivalent of the 501st, its definitely the Rebel Legion you seek.

It covers not just Jedi, but pilots, smugglers, royalty, senators and much more.

 

Dam! None of these allow under 18's! Im gonna start up 'the keepers of the peace' for all ages! a UK based costuming club that can be seen at Collectormania and Jedi-Con! We have over 1 member so far...2!

 

Unfotunately, the state of civil liability and the fast-draw-law-suit are such in the USA that under 18's are not allowed in Rebel Legion and Jedi Assembly. However, you CAN join in discussions on their message boards.

 

Do you have a parent that's willing to go with you to events? There's an under-age gal here in Chicago that goes to events that way.
