Ok, So I'm having a tunic and robe made, That's good.

I'm going to need boots, Correct?

I've got Vader Gloves. That will do fine.

What could I do to my face to make it more Sith-ish? Like maybe some scars or cuts or something from SPIRIT Halloween. *No Contacts*

Also, How should the Lightsaber be held, And what are some cool easy moves to do with it. I need to learn before Halloween. I can do a basic spin and invert, But that gets very boring after awhile.

Boots are a really good idea.

Pick a theme for make-up. Maybe yellowish 'bruising' stipple around the eyes. Slight pale skin. Scar optional.

Lightsaber: figure 8 pattern, move index finger across--roll blade back (see highlander)--switch fingers during roll so that blade is in reverse grip, reverse grip figure 8.

Actually, watch the training montage scenes in highlander and follow along (make sure you have open space around you).
Move from the hip. Keep motions fluid.

What are you trying to go as, anyway? Generic Jedi? Generic Sith? Anakin? Knowing will help improve suggestions. ;)

A sith. My aunt is making my Tunic and robe. I've got to go back to her house today for the sleeves on the robe and the hood. Tunic is done. Going to add some black vinyl to the belt, So it's not all the same color and blends in. Should add some pop to it.

    Like in maul's.

We have gone to the Halloween store and picked up some makeup and some Horns to come out of the forehead.

I'm really considering leaving the gloves behind, They are just not comfortable and don't make holding and spinning the lightsaber easy.

Go with actual warm gloves, or skip it.

If you have a local military surpluss store, see if they have any ammo pouches. Probablly cost $5-15 each, but can be very handy (esp for holding wallets and cell phones). You can probablly even polish them black to fit in better.

I'm actually going this saturday. But for airsoft stuff. I'll see if I can bother mom or aunt for money too just incase i see something useful for Halloween. Uncle has some ammo pouches from his army days but I don't wanna mess those up, He's getting into airsoft now so I think he'll want them.

I would recommend wearing either a plain black shirt underneath (or if you don't have one, just wear a black shirt backwards). It will look better.

    Other than that, looks good!

Yeah, nice. Just wear an all-black shirt underneath and looks like you're pretty set.

'North Face' a UK climbing supplies company have reasonably priced boots that could principally be Hoth boots, but couls also suffer being tweaked for Sith or Jedi costuming demands.
