Hey, this section has been dead for awhile. I will try and living it and post some pics of my Boba Fett costume progress-

First and foremost, my helmet so far. Its been a long process, but I want it to be right. It's a ROTJ theme, and I think it is coming along well. I hope to have it done in a week or so-

Here is a shot of my armor. I used reference pics from MoM for the helmet and armor paint scheme-

    Shoulder bells-

Girth belt, scratch built. I have a real mohair girth like in the mail, like used in the film-

it seems to have something to do with the web address of the picture rather then the web page it's displayed on, I always have trouble with that here too, so I just post the link.

Looking good! It'll be awesome to troop with a Fett!
Are you looking to join the 501st once it's finished?

Haha, depends on how good it comes out first. I forgot to mention that I have my jumpsuit and vest already too. I got them from Skygunbro, who makes awesome stuff by the way. I have my collar piece, knees, cod, and gloves in progress right now. Once they are done, maybe I will suit up with what I have, and get some pics. I really need to find some gauntlets for my next piece.

Got my collar piece and helmet done now. Gloves and cod are still in progress. I got my mohair girth belt in and dyed. It came out very well. Still need to come up with straps for it. I just struck a great deal with a guy at TDH for gauntlets and a jetpack. He is a well respected caster. Can't wait to get them in and get started.

Wow, can't believe I have been gone so long. Progress is still slow. I have my gaunts done and gloves. Almost finished scratchbuilding a cod piece. Have knees barely started. Need to paint my jetpack and come up with a way to mount it. Backplate is built but needs a lot of forming and attaching still. Got a new fiberglass bucket that I just started painting. Going ESB style for this one. Still need wookie braids, hip pouches, ankle spats, and boots. Once my cod is done, I may suit up for a few pics from the thighs up(no boots or knees yet:)

We could probably help you there! :p
Although, it might be cheaper for the $2 a package to go out to a Sally's Beauty Supply store and buy a pack of hair extenstions in the appropriate colors.

Do a lot of research. Then you have to pic one. I sugest you start of with something simple and go from there.

Save money, lots of money. Costuming is expensive depending on the character you chose.

I found the easiest was a jedi outfit (especially when Ian gave me the outer robe) and it got me a lot of experience in many aspects of costuming before I choose my ultimate costume.

(I still don?t have the money yet)

There are a lot of web sites and friendly people that can help you make your own.

Mandalorians lend themselves well to creativity.

Yeah, that's all I've done so far is a Jedi costume. I've been holding out on doing a Clone Trooper because I wanna drop about 80 pounds before I do so. Otherwise, you'll have a fat Clone Trooper and I'm not so sure that would've happened! ;) Anyway, if you need tips on costuming, email me at r_crissman@hotmail.com. I would love to help!

That is funny because I want a Stormtrooper outfit but I am not sure I am tall enough. It doesn't lend itself to too much to individuality but they are just too cool!

I think the record shortest stormtrooper in the 501st is just over 5' tall so I think you're plenty tall enough. Talk with -KnightShade- about his summer project. ;)

At C3 I saw a guy that was a Snowtrooper that would have looked better as Ram Man from He Man. Not only was he short he was almost as wide (not fat) as he was tall. He was a good guy and funny.

Mandalorians lend themselves well to creativity.

Where do I find them?? And how do I get them to be crative for me...lol.

I thought of going to a costum shop and purchase things they don't want anymore from SW costumes...is that a good idea??? I don't know where to get a blaster or two.
