FF:SA Costume Projects Progress Reports

Found a place yesterday while walking back to work from a meeting - Centre Stage Costume Hire (www.centrestagecostumes.com.au) that are selling SW costumes.

They have a Chewie for $900, reckon they are getting a Clone Trooper (Rubies, I think) in the New Year which will be approx $1600.

Also have some kids costumes for $100 (vader, clone trooper), and Jedi Robes (I am pretty sure they were adult sizes - I think that they were about $20).

i was gonna start on making a dark jedi....
using mainly a dark brown material.... 2 different kinds
with black as this little extr bits here and there

It looks like quite a lethal weapon .... will there be some events where you won't be able to take it due to security/safety issues??

 

I definitely think so. I might have to invest in a Nerf Gaffi as well

Not yet. I was going to start it one the weekend after 'the kids' had re-inspired me, but then something else came up.

I have holidays in 2 weeks so if I haven't got around to it by then, then hopefully I'll get something done during those 2 weeks...

 

Do we need an armour party so we can push you along!!!

Clone Captain Helmet

I dont know what it is, but this helmet just doesnt look right. The shiny strip above the visor isnt doing it any favours in looking accurate, atleast IMO.

Looks very nice though.

 

Apart from the Visor being too big, they're not a bad helmet.
