Costume show-off

OK well these boards are normally really slow. I wanted to try to help somehow to get people on here to at least post SOMETHING!

So I am making this thread for all things realated to our costumes and props - perferably star wars related (canon or just made up), but it doesn't have to be!

So show-off your props, costumes, ideas, thoughts, progress...

Cool stuff Tony!

Here's mine. The costume is an Airborne Clonetrooper. (the weapon is non-canon; something I threw together in 2 days.) I still have to do lots of tweaking, and a bit more trimming around the legs to make it more comfortable to walk in. When I first wore it at the Neptune Festival, only a few items 'fell' off, which is kinda good considering.

I know of a Richmonder who wears one as well; he's a bit long-winded, slightly on the crazy-side, and has a true talent for swearing, but a nice guy nonetheless!

Working on a ESB Vader at the moment. I will put some pics on when I have it done. After the Vader I am thinking of doing either a Chewie or a Wampa. I read on a site that people flock to the Chewie costume to get pics. They said that there were about only a dozen accurate Chewies out there right now. I do'nt think I have ever seen a Wampa costume. I could feel like a Wampa rockstar!!

There are two Wampa that I know of...one of them is AWESOME!

The other is great, but looks more like a giant Mogwai (Gizmo) than a Wampa in the face.

I would love to do a Gammorean Guard, they get tons of attention! Scratch that, there is only one good one that I have seen (his name is Richard) His costume is awesome!

Right now I am working on a Jango! I will post progress pics of my helmet once I get it in the mail!

You guys have some awesome costumes! I wish I could show you mine but I never took the time to learn how to post pics! I think I wanna be a stormtrooper like Tony or an airborne trooper like Thumpy. I always loved the stormie as a kid and once AOTC came out, I wanted to be a clone. When ROTS came out with all the different clones, I really wanted to be a shocktrooper but I just dont have the time or patience to do these types of things anymore.

But ya got the money to buy a completed one! I don't blame you!

I still wish Aimee would have let me buy that completed Jango!

(So many boards...so little goof off time!)

As for me, the picture shows my three favorite helmets.
(I have an Imperial Gunner helmet too - just not on display).

I wear my TD (Sandtrooper) most of the time at events and even have my own trading card!

Wow! Thanks for posting my pic Tony. I think I look pretty imposing in my Airborne armor. Cant wait to troop with Alan in it. Thank you Eddie for that pic of us at the school. Just got that in the mail - I sanded some of it to day at lunch. Once I have more completed, I will post it up.

Ideally, I would like a set of the Master Replica's Jango Blasters... but this will do for now.
