So CO Costume Sweatshop for Starfest

Is there any interest in starting these up again? I don't have any specific costumes in mind at the moment, but I can help anyone who needs it, and I may even be inspired to do a last minute costume (those are the most stress for the money )

The weekend of the 26-27 is right out, but other than that, I think we are pretty free for any time to host it at our place.

Sure, but I think we need someone to be doing costumes first, so we have a person who needs stuff

Sounds interesting... I want to wait until I get a bit more into my semester and see how I'm doing schoolwise before I make a commitment though

 

I dont have any costuming to do, at least that I know of. I suppose I could do some finishing touches on my tusken. *shrug*

I do think it would be nice to spend some time with you all. I've been missing that.

I work on stuff every night, so...whatever works, works. If anyone needs help, let me know.

if I hit a snag, maybe I could bring it by. So far I have had zero time to work on it. Need to finish boots, and some kind of belt fastener to keep the excess leather from flapping around.

 

5 weeks to go people, let's kick this pig! or just nudge him along. In a nice fashion that doesn't involve cruelty to swine.

Costuming has commenced at this household, in a random fashion. Much more thinking and planning is happening than actual costuming....but that will soon be changed. Oh yes, it will.

Hopefully I will be able to get something done tomorrow on my day off. mebbe.

uh, I dunno. Good question. Are we?

 

I would like to start thinking/talking about this. We are doing the GI Joe thingy, and there is works to be done. First order of business for me is dropping twenty pounds, and starting on props. I am going to hold off on altering my flightsuit until march.

 

Anybody else still planning on doing a costume for Starfest? Its more fun to work together than not.

 

I imagine at least one person in our house will be doing one...

 

I'm thinking of putting together a few. But I was going to hold off until March too. Since I think I'm going to try this radical program to drop some of my extra poundage. But we should have a few preliminary get togethers. The good thing is that I have weekends off!

 

I have the next five weekends off, and after that I will work saturdays from 9 to 6. I am going to try and buy the rest of my costume stuff in the next weeks or so.
