It's not Slavey - he check out on the time restriction (He and Lemurus have both posted in the same minute previously) which is darn near impossible, even for a cable slut like me! (we *can* say slut, right?)

I'm pretty sure that the restriction applies to usernames only. Meaning if you logged out of your normal username, and in with a sock, you could post more than once in a minute.

Although I could be wrong, 'cause to be honest I've never tried.

Why is it such a big deal, anyway? Why not just wait, you'll find out eventually.

Shara, have you tried being logged in as two different users at once on the same PC? I have, and let me tell you that it doesn't work.

So the reason why we are using time is it would take at least 1 minute of teh boards time to log you out and log someone else back in. I don't think a cable user like me could post from two different accounts in the same minute... (so there is no way it is Slavey).

And over a LAN, which I know most people have.

Of course, my connection speed is usually running at one third of normal cable speed (since there are two other computers connected to the internet in my house)

if you go back a page in this thread (I think) you'll see Slavey and Lemurus posting at almost exactly the same time stamp (identical in the hh:mm format)

I'm talking about in the same minute, not within one minute... if that makes sense...

edit: however, if there are two computers over the same LAN then it's no problem. when i'm back home my sister and i post with no problem.

two browsers may do it also (netscape and ie, for example), since they both collect cookies differently.

You know, even if we guess it right, Lemurus will just say something like:

i didn't get a straight answer from shara at one of my guesses earlier tonight. and that's right before she told me it was george. so i'm thinking i guessed correctly...
