So Sonya's post got me thinking of costumes and there are a million I want to do. And I think we had some kind of costuming thread at one point...I couldn't find it though.

But I was thinking that our group is slowly turning into a Fan Force with costumes, which is pretty kool.

So I was thinking...would anyone be interested in doing a group costume for Comic-Con 2009?
I don't mean all of us being jedi or pilots, but rather getting as many of us in some kind of Star Wars costume as possible. Would that be possible? Fun? Stupid? [Boo! Bad idea!!]

Just an idea, holla at your boy/girl. [That's from Project Runway, FYI.]

    Thanks.

I'm not apposed to doing something SW, but going totally away from that would be fun! The game idea is great. Candyland or Clue so far. We really need to brainstorm!

.... although, Steam Punk Star Wars would be pretty amazing!!! :D

Oh, nos! Attack of the Retro Cartoons, LOL! [face_laugh]

If we're going in that direction, I'd personally love to do one of those funky costumes from Back to the Future 2. ;)

Although I think it would be fun to be stereotypical and cast me and Nikol as the "International Friends", we should (if we decide to do this) pick the main characters to dress up as. Here's a link with the original characters. I think if we go this route the three of us are likely to be the only ones dressing up. What do you think?

sounds fun. I've never been much of a costume guy though... (don't have the money, or know-how to make even a horrid costume:()

If you want Star Wars, you could do a Skywalker Family thing.
ie. Anakin (pre-Vader), Padme, Luke, Mara, Ben, Leia, Han, etc.

I'm not saying you CAN'T be Almond Tea if ya want, I just think someone ought to be Strawberry, at least. I elect Minda. Tee hee! I'm kind of partial to Blueberry Muffin.

We really need someone secure enough in their masculinity to be Huckleberry Pie. (Looking hard at Ronnie)

*whispers* Ronnie, your line is, "I'm your Huckleberry..."

    LMBO!!
True. We do need a Strawberry. I think Minda would make a very cute Strawberry. If we could rope the girls into they could be Cherry Cuddler, Apple Dumplin and Apricot.

Hmm...can I bribe Ronnie to be Huckleberry... Let me get some sunflowers seeds, diet coke and strawberry shortcake (the food).

I can totally envision Ronnie as Huckleberry Pie or Purple Pieman. Even more than I can see me doing any sort of cutesy, even the lovably tart and fluffy Lemon Meringue. Please plan on installing a barf bag on my costume. [face_sick]
