Just a generic Jedi, here. This is my first time making a costume though, and I'm super pumped to use it.

Looks good. CV is the place to wear your armor and it will certainly get broken in at this event.

I'll be a Jedi all days - I have multiple outfits.

I hope that the organizers finally realize that there is a genuine NEED for luggage check-in at the convention center. And changing areas. The hotel/convention center logistics for Orlando are just as bad as they were for LA.

Hello all could use a little help. I have my wife convinced finally to wear the slave leia outfit, I need something to wear and only have 5-6 days to make it...eek! I can not do a Han Solo, unless I do it cheaply, does any of you fine folks have any simple ideas how to make a quick Star Wars Universe outfit?

    Thanks a bunch guys!

I'm thinking about bringing one of my costumes. I'm just not looking forward to lugging them onto the plane, and they are all really warm. Either my Tusken Raider or Wicket...I doubt I'd ever get my Max Rebo keyboard on a plane...

    Quick Han Solo
    Dk blue Pants/jeans
Black tack vest (you can get it an Army/Navy Store)
    White shirt
    Red Ribbon (for the pants)
    Belt, Holster, and gun
Black knee high boots (these may be harder for you to find)

Since you want it fast, you have to go non-accurate. Pick a Grosgrain ribbon (not shiny) for the pants and hand stitch it in place or fabric glue it if you don't mind permanently attaching it to the pants. Hand stitching allow you to easily remove the leg stripes when you are done and re wear the pants as regular pants ;)

You can have two out of the three when it comes to costuming usually (general rule of thumb)
    Fast, Accurate, Cheap
    Fast and Accurate = expensive
fast and cheap = not accurate

I was going to wear my AOTC Anakin on Sunday, but since the Tusken Camp won't be there now, I'll try to bring my TIE Pilot to take a pic in front of the lifesize TIE Fighter!

    :D

I'm officially, last minute, wearing a 'costume' of sorts for Thursday so I'll have it for the JCC party.

Also lovin that the fabric looks nice and breezy, so you shouldn't be too hot. Nice.
