I thought it might be cool to have a thread where we can talk about our progress on the costumes I know some of us are working on. My mom and I went downtown yesterday picked up some fabric for Padme's light blue Tatooine outfit. It's a crepe microfibre which is easy to work with, but soft enough to get the drape we want. We got 8 yds of 60' at $5/yrd. Probably more than we need, but better safe than sorry, right? Oh, and Justin, since I'm sure you're wondering, it's white with a greyish-blue tinge, so the colour's right.

okay, so I'm cheating and having my costumes made for me... My padme pastel lake dress is in progess. I can't wait for it!

Cool Nyla! The key for me is to pick simple ones that we can actually do! The pastel lake dress isn't one of those! Maybe I'm just odd, but I feel like I have a deeper relationship with the costume because I've gone through the whole process. (I meaning my mom and I) Though I'm probably the only one that talks to her fabric
I'd like one made for me just cause I don't know how to sew. Leli, I want that desert costume!!! Make me one too!
