    Should be cool *crossing fingers*. I'm going to use food dye to color the inside of my mouth black. Mwah ha ha ha!

    If that doesn't work, you can always suck on a black ink pen!

    I was reading about how they actually use squid ink for black food dye. Apparently it has a briny taste to it. Yuck.

    Unless the sewing machine gets unpacked I don't know if I'll be making those tabards and obi. I need to scramble; Halloween is in 9 days! :eek:

    If my tabards were shorter I'd be tempted to ride my bike in costume on Halloween. [face_pumpkin] That'd be fun.

    It's the same stuff I made the Padme hair piece out of, except I didn't wrap it in fake hair. I dyed it black then used metallic craft paint over it. It's already wrapped in in thread, so it makes a crosshatched sort of pattern on it.

    I won't have any pictures until I go out to a Halloween party tomorrow night.
