Ark Costuming Event July 11th-For kids at Garland County Library--ANYONE INVITED

Hi everyone,
I've spoken with Tracy and would like to invite everyone to another reason to costume.
Juy 11 at the Garland County library I've been asked to do a session for kids 7 and up about Star Wars. ANyone and Everyone who can make it in costume would be welcome. This is going to be an informative thing for lots of kids and adults and possibly a few new members.

Hot springs i believe. tho i don't have exact directions its been a while. havn't been since i moved from mount ida.

The library is on Malvern ave. I will be posting google directions here where it is. Thank you ALL SO MUCH for being willing to help.
It's going to be a hoot! I'll know in June of how many will be there. Also, if anyone wants to help make some flyers, please feel free to jump in!

Otisdodge, costumes would be great, the kids are looking forward to it. Any props you want to bring are going to be helpful. We'll be teaching the kids alot about SW history, especially what happens after ROTJ.

RedHanded_Jill --The time starts at 6:30 and will run till about 7:30. We have achanging place for those who need to change and the directions are up above.It's gone form 30 kids up to 75 as of today, plus their parents, other siblings and 20 or so walk ins. Be prepared for some pics, we'll also have pics in the Sentinel Record.

Please, do tell. I'll try and avoid Saturday classes in terms to come. What I can't wait for is to see what we'll do on Halloween, the first anniversary of the day I first met Arkansith, who turned my evening from glum and disappointing to exiting and endlessly adventurous within a matter of minutes! It will be on a Tuesday this year, meaning maybe I'll try and scope out Monday/Wednesday evening classes. I know that's kinda thinking far in advance; it just happened to cross my mind. chase i teach at cutter so this is a short trip for me. i will be totally in character.

 

Thanks to Locokarma, Kynstar, and jeepgirl of both the 327th and Arkansith as well as RedHanded Jill from the Arkansith for coming.
We had about 70 kids and adults there but ALL were into SW.

i love dressing up. sam wont leave me alone now about making him a new costume. i myself will be making that corellian jedi costume next i believe. we spent the entire ride home working on our jedi names. thanks, kynstar, all sam wants to do is be a sith now.

This was a great group of kids. They had great ideas and questions and were actually pretty knowledgeable. I was surprised.
