    The both of us are working on our armor at this time and we both will be working on Stormtrooper armor soon as well. I currently have my membership setup with the 501st and Jim is close to getting his done as well and we will have a good Imperial following done here soon . . .

    If there are others interested in working on costuming projects with us, do contact me . . .

    Impressive...most impressive!!! Good work John and Jim. The work so far looks excellent. If I didn't have such an Empire sized gut, I would make a costume. Maybe I can be a Gammorrean guard or something...Hee Hee Hee...

    Anyway, I can't wait to see the finished work. You can use me for cannon fodder for the pictures too!!!

    "And as my first act of Supreme Chancellor I will create a GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC . . ."

    MORE PICS !!!!!!!

    Jim's other current project

    That's right - Stormtrooper project is in the works . . .

    And now for another episode of - JOHN'S BLUE CLONETROOPER HELMET !!!!!

    [image=http://members.aol.com/tc7012/tc70127.jpg]

    [image=http://members.aol.com/tc7012/tc70128.jpg]

    In these pics you'll see that I did some more weathering to the helmet and I added some mirror window tinting to the visor. I also added some screening in the mouth area as well as some padding. All that's left is the LED's for the tailpiece and this Prequel bucket is good to G.O. !!!!

    Remember, if you are interested in props and costuming and would like to attend our discussions on these subjects, feel free to post your interest here and myself or Jim will contact you !!!

    robkun thanks for the kind words. Yes the rest of the armor looks incredible, great detail and excellent molding. I only hope to do justice to it as a bright and shiney new Stormtrooper. If I encounter any problems.....well then Sandtrooper assignment is a definate possibility...lol. We'll have to see.

    Anyways, why not join John and I next Monday nite for pizza or something. Its not a formal/official get together but hey its fun to discuss props and costuming with like minded people. This last Mon nite we just chilled out ate some pizza and talked Star Wars (of course) and discussed different prop ideas - later taking some pics of John's Clonetrooper helmet's progress. Glad to see you may have a costume idea to possibly work on. My TIE Fighter Pilot Uniform is nearly finished and it has many similarities to your death star gunner outfit, just a few differences in helmet, chest box and armor. I'ld be glad to share some of my experience putting it together anytime. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join John and myself so don't be shy about getting together even if your prop/costume project is weeks to months from happening. Right now Mon nites are best for me and John so drop us an email if you would like to get together with us.

    With Christmas about to pass, there should be more time (and less stress on me) to do some prop gatherings and possibly get those of you who wish to take part in stage sword and lightsaber training. I plan to work with one of my closest friends to develop something that will be easy for those who desire to learn stage sword will enjoy . . .

    More details to come soon !!!

    Take Care
