Couldn't live without my dremmel! Thats what I used to cut out the wholes for the back pack. There aren't many sharps in this thing but ya I was going to do a bit of grinding on what burs that are left. I may do a bit more cutting today on other pieces before I really refine the shape of them. I figure get the hard part out of the way first.

I have done some more work on my build. I started a Mando Crusader Mask it is close but I still have to install the tint and fabricate a hood. I have come up with some great ideas from the You-tube videos I posted. I also have done some painting on pieces I am not going to be putting emblems on. As for how it is coming, I am open for input and ideas.

    Thank you all, Jake

Here are the pictures I mentioned I have to do some sanding still. Shell will want to do the painting . Ears and range finder still need to be installed and haven't yet figured out if the will be made by me or purchased. Also visor with tint. Seems and rivvets have been covered. and temp paint for photo purposes. I made this helmet a little smaller for it is a female fett and . I dint think Shell wants to look like a bobble head. LOL [face_laugh] So any Questions or comments Fire away???

Here's something for you guys to read.

Not sure if anyone else saw this...

Split Decision In Star Wars Fight
    1 August 2008 5:24 AM, PDT
A Star Wars prop designer has won a partial victory in a battle over the copyright of stormtooper costumes.
Andrew Ainsworth, who worked on the original 1977 film, was sued by the movie's creator George Lucas for selling replica helmets and suits from his shop in south London.
On Thursday, Ainsworth was cleared by London's High Court of violating British copyright law - leaving him free to sell the goods throughout Europe, Australia, and Commonwealth countries.
But he is facing the prospect of further action from Lucas and executives at Star Wars production company Lucasfilm after the court ruled he had breached American intellectual property laws.
Lucasfilm bosses successfully sued Ainsworth for $20 million (GBP10 million) for copyright infringement in California in 2004.

I'm not so sure if Princesses were ment to be in armor. I ductaped it on me and it looks enormous. Its very disappointing. I might try to curve the plates a little more, but I don't want to have to cut them. Its either that or the flightsuit/flack vest together that look bulky. Bulky is good on a guy, but not so good for ladies. Come to think of it, I've seen lots of pics of fem Mando armor, but none with an actual female wearing it. Perhaps I'm not the only one with issues of looking oversized...

Here are a couple of pics from C4 of a female Mando wearing the armor. Keep in mind though that hers isn't as extensive as yours. You could bring your armor to Brandon's on Saturday, and I'm sure the group of us can figure out something that works...

Thanks for the pics! She doesn't have a flight suit or a flack vest either. Maybe thats the problem. I feeel like I'm wearing a potato sack. Don't know if I can get the armor to you guys. Maybe I'll have to get brave and share the ugly picture I took for Andy. He agrees, it needs to be trimmed and the vest needs to lose a few inches. I'll play with it some more tomorrow, but not too much. I don't want to mess up the spiffy new paint job!
