    Exar Kun's spirit was trapped in the Massassi temples on Yavin 4 for 4000 years. Then he took over Kyp before being destroyed. Palps has nothing to do with it.

    Don't think it's Kun, but I speculated on the Ep.III SA page that Palps was just a normal Senator & was later possessed by a Sith Spirit (Bane perhaps) & gained his powers that way... [face_devil]

    But that's just my theory... :D

    i suppose palps was a normal senator posessed by a sith spirt

    i disagree. something youll notice in I and in II, is palpatines subtle rise to power. in 1 hes a senator. then hes supreme chancellor, the biggest of the big dogs. on top of that, he is given emergency powers. he is no.1 in the republic. in three he takes these powers and proclaims himself emperor. ps: palps is sidious. y else would their be two sith lords in star wars? its more balanced. besides pay attention to the clues

    That is true as is obviously evidenced by the entree which Lucas had Darth Vader served on Cloud City in ESB. Yep, pot roast.
