Could GL make a Star Wars film in the NJO era using the old characters?

    I think yes. Because:

Harrison Ford = Almost looks like old Han (Some make up jobs would make him look like the Han Solo in the NJO)

Carrie Fisher = With some make up jobs and some training and some help, Carrie Fisher could almost look like Leia Solo.

Mark = Looks just like Luke Skywalker in the NJO

Lando = Is Lando's actor dead?

All we need now is the Vong, and some new characters, plus a Mara Jade, and the Solo children. What do you guys think?

Well, that is good. So we have all of the gang, but the actor who played Obi-Won, who died in Sept. of last year (I think).

Do you guys think GL could still do a Star Wars film set in the NJO era?

he would never make a movie using the njo plotline
if he were to make a new movie, it could be with the actors being the same age as those inthe njo, but it would never be the same plot
he would make up something new, or else not do the movie
ive heard he doesnt even read the novels anyway

There's no way GL will make an NJO movie, and we all know this.

This has been done to death here.

Not as a movie, but as part of a television series...

Well, the sequel to Bingo Long(which also starred Darth Vader) never materialized.
