they need to get kevin smith to do it, like his clerks animated uncensored series

This would be a cool idea.

 

OMG! This will totally ROCK!!! (hopefully) It might be cool if they did it CG. I mean they already have all the models in the computer, right?

 

Now THIS could be really cool. Or it could suck. I'm hoping to the Force that it's really cool(if it even comes to pass).

As awesome as this would be.I'm not gonna get to excited over it til I see proof that it will happen.Although something like this is long overdue!!

 

That would be cool. Not as cool as an Alien vs. Predator movie.

 

Personally, I'd rather see a Rogue Squadron series based on the comics and novels. That I would actually watch!

 

It looks like this is for real. theforce.net has confirmed the story. It appears that ILM has made a pilot episode in-house.

A Rouge Squadron show would kick arse.

 

Especially because there's less need to complain about having the classic characters voiced by other actors. Maybe we can get a Rogue Squadron show after this one...

 

That would be too awesome. I'm they could get Denis Lawson to do Wedge!

Doubt you'll see a rogue squadron cartoon anytime soon.

The clone wars cartoon is to setup what happens between the movies.And it doesnt end with the cartoons.over the next 3 years they are releaseing books,comics,the cartoon and other little tidbits of info.

 

Where's that spoiler you were talking about?

 

AICN has reported that the "format will be serialized shorts to keep with the Star Wars Serial motif. These will not be half hour adventures, but more in the line of short films. These animated shorts will play inbetween two regular half hour cartoons in a fixed slot."
And who's producing this? GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY!!!!!!! (if you don't nkow who he is, you won't be excited about it, don't worry)

He said the Clone Wars will take place "real time" in our world. Say What? The time that passes for us between movies (3 years) will be the time that passes in that GFFA. And the Clone Wars will be finishing up at the start off Ep3

I think George Lucas said that there would be 1 or 2 years between episodes 2 and 3.

Thats not a spoiler at all, but I like to stay as spoiler free as possible!

It was said before AOTC came out that 2 years would pass between 2+3. However, he said on the DVD commentary track (or somewhere, I know I heard him say it) that it'll be 3.
Ok, he didn't say 3. He said the amount of time that passes for us will be the same as in the movies...hopefully it's only 3!!
