Could the Yuuzhan Vong have been defeated at the start of the invasion

    if the Empire had come to the new republics aid and if the new republic deployed there fleets could they have pushed the vong back.

    If the NR had actualy fought back in the begining, and if the imps had helped out, then yes they could have kept the vong from getting a major foothold.


    There however are many kinds of defeat, and the vong would have still inflicted massive casulties, but noware on the scale that they managed to.
