Speculation Could we see a Team-up movie?

All three spin-offs [we presume] are set in between episode's 3 and 4. Is it possible that Felicity's character will pop up in Han Solo? Or more specifaclly a Boba Fett movie? I mean a Boba Fett movie has to involve him hunting down someone. Who better than Felicity's character, now a fugitive for helping to steal the Death Star plans. Boba Fett is instructed to bring her back alive by Jabba to ransom her off to the empire, but Darth Vader wants her for himself, putting Bounty hunter and Sith Lord in opposition.

 

It's an interesting idea.

I don't know that we'll see an actual 'team up' movie, a la, The Avengers, but they might end up in each others movies. I always like nods to other movies in the same universe, so that would be pretty cool.

 

Now there is an interesting idea... Maybe after he catches her the "No disintegrations!" line would take on a whole other meaning

I hope not, personally I feel the avengers movies suffer from too many main heroes.

 

Characters occasionally crossing over in organic ways? Sure. But no team ups, please. The thought of a scene like the below in Star Wars makes my skin crawl:

 

Yeah, Star Wars is a sci-fi opera - not a superhero flick.

Of course there's always possibilities for TV shows. Team-ups tend to look less cringeworthy on the small screen.

 

It's quite possible especially if they have multiple characters who become a huge audience draw.

 

Could work in the Old Republic era, but not during OT timeline.

 

Oh you're gonna loooooooooooooooove Infinity War then.

 

Lando and Han seems pretty natural. Adventures and shenanigans galore are implied. Chewie too.

Han and Boba Fett crossovers seem easily plausible, it seems to me significant history between the two is implied beyond him being one of Jabba's thugs.

An Obi-Wan and Boba crossover/conflict seems plausible as well, Tattoine isn't that big or populated. Assuming he got dad's armor maybe messing around with Obi-Wan the Lars ranch caused them to be in the more ramshackle condition we all thought was so awesome?

I'm not super hot on any of it exactly but a lot of possibilities range between plausible and making a choice to tell different stories.

 

Ha. Though I spare myself any suffering by simply not watching them.

I like Whedon's politics. But the dude's just not a filmmaker or an artist, IMO. Think he should have stuck to TV, as the medium better suits his style.

I have heard - though based on the details of Infinity War, it sounds like his style has been deemed a winning one, and will be perpetuated.

Yeah, that won't really change anything in that regard. The movies will still have a ton of superheroes as main characters in them, all vying for our attention.

 

There might be some crossover dialogue where one character in one movie may allude to an event that happened or person from another. Obvious example would be Boba Fett making reference to his pursuit of Solo and their previous entanglements.

 

Bring in some Cylons to help out the First Order?
Maybe the Firefly can tag along with the Falcon?
