COUNTDOWN MILESTONE

Now that it's past midnight, today, March 27, is exactly 50 days until Attack Of The Clones is released! I can't contain myself! We're in the homestretch people! The countdown is going to be over soon, and well worth the three year wait since The Phantom Menace! :oes Jake Lloyd impression:: Yipee!

 

By my official countdown, (Which I cross off a day when I get up (But not really )) 50 days is on Wednesday, which is also 3/27.


Heh, that means 49 days until my birthday!

 

Exactly 40 days left until Attack Of The Clones comes out! I can't wait! We're in the homestretch! I'm too excited!

 

Yep, I can hardly wait. I have now dropped out of reading spoilers. Has anyone see the stuff that has been published lately? I enjoyed reading spoilers but come on. There is way to much detail now. I don?t want to know each line of dialog. If I did I would read the book.

 

This isn't really a countdown milestone day, but I figured I'd tell you guys my story nonetheless, because it has to do with the countdown. Here's the conversation that occurred between my roommate (Alex)and myself at 1:45 AM when I realized I hadn't marked off my countdown after midnight yet. It is quite funny, and as most Star Wars fans are fans of Kevin Smith, most of you should get this impromptu Clerks joke.

Random: Yeah, only thirty-seven days until Attack Of The Clones comes out!
Alex: Thirty-seven! Why couldn't it have been thirty-six?

I thought that was quite clever of him. Hehe, good times with the night crew doing homework in the wee hours of the morning...

 

Just wanted to get it in before midnight, as I have been lax on posting it all day. Only 30 days now people! And within half an hour of this post, it's only going to be 29 days! Until then I guess I'm going to have to get my fill of Star Wars by playing Outcast...

I should have posted this on the 8th (yesterday) but I couldn't get on yesterday.

On May 8th, we had 8 days left.

Yeah, but we have less than 7 now, if you are counting to the 12:01 showing.

 

Yah, at this time next week it will be all over for us.

 

Not for me! I have tickets to the 7:45 showing too!

 

Sure it will. You'll know everything that is going to happen. No new surprises for another three years.

 

Well, I was told that the Digital version had more scenes, so if it is in digital at Valley View, the second time I see it I will see more things.

We are officially down to hours instead of days.

 

I am so psyched, less than 24 hrs to go. My main problem is going to be what I should pay attention to while watching the movie first time. There is so much stuff to see; everything from the main characters to useless background happenings. What am I going to do! I need to see it multiple times in order to get near the slightest bit of the full experience. I think I'll mostly just stare at Natalie's beauty, mostly.

 

How about paying attention to the movie period? I think I will be in a state of awe for the first half of the movie, the reason being that I'm actually fianally seeing AOTC.

Everybody going to the midnight show...have fun! I'll just be getting home from Channel 19, and I'll be checking in on the forums throughout the day.

For Padawan92 and myself, it's 29 hours...15 minutes until we're sitting down for AOTC! This was the best part of the wait, when I was I kid: riding around the block on my bicycle counting the time (when I knew how) until it was time to go to the theater.

I'll keep an eye out for anyone if they send a television crew out to Valleyview. I work for "Action News" 43/19.
