Countdown to 7000!!

Yup. Eventually we'll rival Community. Although I think we'll need a few more people than we currently have to do that.

 

We'll be there in no time. I mean, we all post as regurlarly as we can. If we keep it up, we'll soon have to change this name to Countdown to 4,000.

 

And then 5k, 6k, 7k, 8k, 9k, 10k...

 

We have been slowing down a bit though. I haven't been able to get here much cause I've been mucho busy with homework and stuff. But, that will change over the weekend.

Oh well. As long as we stay in competition with them and don't fall too behind.

We've all had a rather busy week though, so what can you do? We'll regain the lead again I'm sure.

 

I haven't had a busy week. I was sitting around Thursday and Friday with nothing to do and no posting going on. I didn't feel like conversing with myself, either. I'd probably be banned for spamming or something.

I've said "damn" before but thats not enough to get me banned. I'm not one for swearing though.

Actually, on this topic...today my friend and I were in the library and a girl who was supposed to be in inhouse came in. She started talking to the kids behind us. Well, every other word out of her mouth was **** something or other.

So, my friend and I, being amused by that, started keeping track of how many times she swore. She was there for no more than five minutes and she said **** eighty one times. Amazing how many different parts of speech that word can be used as...verb, noun, pronoun, adverb, adjective!

Real inteligent huh? Not to mention she was talking about how the police showed up at her house and arrested the twenty people who were there drinking and doing drugs.

Kids today. I swear!!

 

I figure that if people keep using swears at the rate they do today, no one will care about them anymore within 20 years and they'll have no effect.

Well, I know for a fact that the girl who was doing all the swearing that day won't make much of herself. She'll probably be lucky to graduate high school. And even thats pushing it.

If saying swears will have no effect in twenty years, it will perfectly all right because they do no actual damage other than being dirty words. take that away, and they're just words.

My school's full of them. I shudder to think what the vocational school's are like.

 

Me too. Swears are pretty common in BR too. As they are just about everywhere.

 

They are just words, but VERY unintelligent words. People sound completely brainless when the only thing that comes out of their mouths are swears and words with no more than one or two syllables.

Its just sad.
