7 DAYS, 9 HOURS, 12 MINUTES, and 5 SECONDS TILL AOTC!!!!
7 DAYS, 5 HOURS, 57 MINUTES, AND 30 SECONDS TILL AOTC!!!
7 DAYS, 4 HOURS, 58 MINUTES, AND 30 SECONDS TILL AOTC!!!!!
Do we really need an hour by hour countdown? At this point, that'd be 169 posts to have to keep track of!
6 DAYS - Less than a week - Woo Hoo!
What else am I supposed to do? I'm dead sick and bored!!
5 days...the anticipation is killing me!
You said it!!
I am up late tonight...4 to go
Where's Ani? She hasn't posted in like a week!
4 days to go!
If the movie premiers at 12:01 AM on 5/16/02, then that is 4 1/4 days from now.
i.e, at 8:01 PM, Saturday night, it will be 100 hours until the the Fox Fanfare music is heard, and a whole lot of people in movie theatres get stoopid happy.
Yeah - for this particular countdown, we've always stuck with the "calendar day" method of counting down.
Then again, with roughly 87 3/4 hours (aka. 4 calendar days, or 3 days and 15.75 hours!) left to go until the movie, who's going to pick nits?
3 days to go!
2 days, 14 hours.
3 calendar days
62 hours and change.
IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING A HARD TIME CONCENTRATING THIS WEEK?!?!?
Celebration and it's related drama had Star Wars'd me out...but then I watched E!'s Live from the Red Carpet premiere last night...followed by the Fan Film awards show on the Sci-Fi Channel and I'm feeling pretty pumped up now. Can't wait!
I had a great moment just this morning at Kroger. A woman and two kids were in line in front of me and there was the TV guide with the SW cover sitting there by the register. The kids all started jumping upand down, asking the mom if they could go see the movie, asking when it came out, etc. The mom - clearly not the SW type - kept putting them off, saying she didn't know when it came out and they MIGHT go see it. Typical mom-speak.
Not one to mind my own business..hehe... I piped up that the movie started on the 16th- just 3 days away. Then I picked just *happened* to mention that there were free movie tickets for kids in boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. (My poor kids are going to be eating that cereal at every meal for the next 3 months. I've stocked up and so far I have a stack of 12 free tickets for the kids!!)
The kids then started begging to go get that cereal and I'm sure that mom was silently cursing me.
*lol* That mom probably didn't appreciate my 'help' but, oh well. It was so nice to see kids excited about the movie! I just had to sprinke the Star Wars dust around this morning.
You know - that really is a good deal on the cereal. Meijer has it on sale - 2 boxes for 5 dollars, and the tickets are easily worth double that. With 3 kids to take to the movies, I need to find deals like this. Too bad the tickets are only good for kids.
"...sprinkle the Star Wars dust" LOL!
Admittedly, I find myself telling anyone who's willing to listen (and a few that weren't) about the impending release. Especially here at work, where my desk has recently become overrun with various SW paraphrenelia of late! The current favorite is the Yoda "Furby" I keep asking for advice during the course of the day. The second favorite has to be my old Mace Windu sippy cup from TPM's release. (Incidentally, are they doing that this time around...?)
I just foresee that I will not get a whole heckuva lotta work done this week. Color me crazy....
3 days to go! (4 for me)
2 days YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 days to go! (3 for me)
I can't believe that we're almost there.
Here's the breakdown:
For those attending tonight's 7 pm premiere screening:
1) We hate you guys (just kidding - can ya feel the love?!) and 2) y'all only have <<takes deep breath>>... 9 hours and ~ 50 minutes!
For those attending the midnight screening: 14 hours and ~ 50 minutes!
and for the rest of us, 1 calendar day! (My tickets are for 1:05 pm tomorrow...)
It's about time, wouldn't you say?
1 day to go! (2 for me)
Okay, it's official!
For a select few, AOTC is here!
(You guys suck.)
