Very cool logos there--and I'm afraid as a techno-idiot, I can't be of any PS help to you either. I'd follow Kiyuuchan's suggestion and visit the Adobe website--they might also steer you to some good tutorial sites that might be of some help. They really do look pretty darned good to me, though!

Hello everyone. I know that I haven't put up anything new in a long time. DRL, FanFics, RPs, and my responsibilities else where have bogged me down.

Thank you all for your kind comments on my work. It is greatly appreciated.

As you can see I have moved all of my works to the first post, but I will also keep them as posts of their own when the are first put up. This way new comers only have to look at the first post when they arrive to see my work. Also, those of you who have been following my work can see the new stuff on its own for your concrits.

This was my submission (under my sithly personea) for the SWC Summer Civil War!



We were to create a piece of fan art which we thought accurately depicted Star Wars as a whole.


BTW I won the challenge with this.

So lately I have been bitten by the pencil sketch bug. Risca_Skywalker challenged me to start drawing when I said that I couldn't and these are the results.

This one was a first attempt at actually drawing a humanoid face, and mixing mando armor with Jedi robes.


This is for the RP that I'm in with BultarSwan. It's our two characters after being apart for ten years.

Stuff looks great CPL, I've tried MS Paint, oh how I tried, just when I started to get the hang of doing it I had a 'forced' upgrade due to terminal blue screen. With the new one I can figure out how to do half of what did with the old, then again considering how little I did know how to do with old it is quiet pathetic

I do wonder though, have any other doodles like that first one you weren't going to share? It reminds me of a Mando twist on what the Ewoks did at the end of ROTJ, although I doubt that one is going to be used as an instrument.

I'm glad you took up Risca's challenge! I hope to see more sketches from you.

Your linework for your sketches is tight, particularly for Gaan. I do notice some minor proportion issues, but hey, proportion is a tricky beast. I still have trouble with it from time to time. Though, over the years, I've learned some tricks to make it easier. One thing that has helped is to draw an under-sketch to flesh out the character's proportions, as exemplified here in blue. It may take a bit to get into the habit, but it's a tried and true technique used by many an artist.

And I believe that you have the chops to become a very good one. So, keep on drawing! I'm adding you to my watchlist. XD
