    Well, let's be honest. If we didn't ever have to upgrade our OS or Office, a P233 IS all we would need. Oh, yeah, then there are all those games we like to play...

    The quote above is when Mav was playing Unreal Tournament. He was carrying the flag back to his base for the final point to win the round. He destination was in sight; he could see his Red Flag glowing in the near distance. As he approached his goal, the radiant light of the flag illuminated the room. He could hear and see rockets, plasma bursts and bullets flying by him from his enemies behind. His armor had failed and his health was deteriorating quickly. He jumped towards the flag; his heart was racing and the sweat on the palm of his hand made them hot. Just as his decent to the flag was about complete, big red letters flashed across the screen: Internet Connection Lost. He pounded the mouse he held in his sweaty palm against the DELL mouse pad on the desk, his teeth clenched together trying not to burst out in a string of curse words.
    After 3 Dr.Peppers and some choice words to the computer gods later, he found out ATT had turned off their cable modems in the area due to the fact Excite had went belly up. As he got up from the chair he said to himself.."Well, at least I still have Rogue Squadron"....

    ::applaud::

    That was quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read!

    The irony is how true every part of it was!

    ...And now I have Super Smash Brothers Melee to keep me busy :)

    It is the best game I've ever played. Even someone who doesn't like console games (read: you) would enjoy this game. We'll have to hook it up sometime.

    I forgot AB? On which one? I don't remember that...

    The Gamecube only has 8 buttons, if you don't inclute the D-pad, the analog stick, and the C-look stick.

    The N64 had 10, though.

    The Super Nintendo had 8.

    The Nintendo had 4.

    I've still got mine boxed up in the attic. I remember getting it the first month it was out. I have the specific singularity of having "Super Mario Bros." After the first 3 months, they started packaging Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. Sure, I kinda got jipped out of a game, but I just consider myself a unique individual. :) ha ha ha
