ON CrazyMike's Toy News What is coming out in 2005/2006

I am going to do my best to keep this thread up to date on all of the memorbilia that is coming in 2005. While there have not been many announcements we can expect to see a huge amount of pop cans and fast food items as Pepsico has the rights for EPIII merchandise ( they had the rights for EPI ) so it is going to be an interesting summer !!!

 

argh!! Pepsi...the dark side of the cola wars.

But I digress. It should be interesting to see how they market things this time around...and what all the things end up being.

Anyone remember the Jar Jar Binks tongue candy? heh heh heh

 

Actually I have it and it is somewhere on display in my SW room...

 

I guess we can expect a round of pop cans and KFC / pizza hut / taco bell toys.

I ran over to RebelScum after one of the guys in the Cafe posted the information

 

Pez will be releasing new giant sized dispensers
of R2D2, C3PO, Chewie, Yoda, Darth Vader, The Emperor,
The Death Star, and General Grevious.

 

A correct to the last post:

Pez will be releasing standard sized versions
of R2D2, C3PO, Chewie, Yoda, Darth Vader, The Emperor,
The Death Star, and General Grevious.


Pez is also releasing new giant sized dispensers
of C3PO and Darth Vader. They will be selling for about $40 cdn. There might be others but I am unable to confirm if they are. Expect them in late April -
early May.

The newest Unleashed wave is starting to appear in stores now. The wave is made up of IG88, Aurra Sing, and a stormtrooper.

 

There are reports of leaked ROTS toys all over the country. Has anyone come across any..

 

Try looking at the Dented Helmet... they have good advance notice most times...

Okay.. It's out there somewhere... someone asking where they could find the kids SW toys... anyway.. I found all the EII and Kiddie stuff at Comic World (I believe) in Bramalea City Center... It's upstairs right in the area of the Food Court... on Sun (13th) they had everything... and all the new Unleashed!... I do SO want that Stormtrooper!!!

 

I have heard that Toys R Us in Canada will be getting
the holo Yodas.

From what we have been told, TRU will also have the Holographic Yoda for a promotion starting on May 14th. It will have a price of $14.99cad and will be free with a purchase of 3 ROTS figures($30.00?).Details should be in that weeks flyer, if you want to check it is in the computers under SKU# 85732 E-EX-E3-Yoda Holo. There is a chance it will be put out early as the exclusive figures have in the past. This information is subject to change and we will post more details as they arise.
